Ariel
Who can bear to see the freedom of others? Ariel builds upon the novel by Göran Tunström. It is about a child who is born with wings. The play highligts the possibilities of children and grown-ups alike, and touches on subjects such as limitations, evil and lack of safety. The actors are placed in a scenographic box filled with memories. Inside the box are shimmering, white images of sculptures who come to life. Onto them are projected a colourful visual world.
Katta i Sekken has won international renown through their performance of Ariel.

Bodies in Motion
Bodies in Motion take as its startingpoint the sculptures “BODIES” by Kjartan Slettemark. The puppeteers literally tear the art down off the walls of the gallery, and breathes life into it. Bodies in Motion has been performed in the World Puppet Theatre in Croatia, where it was acclaimed and discussed. Critical voices claimed it was not theatre, while others cried with happiness: at last the boundaries between different art forms has been dissolved.!
